Vampires do not shine in the sunlight, and vampires will not marry you. They only want your blood.
Vampires, as the name suggests, suck your blood. Apart from that, and tanning very badly, they are fairly normal. For obvious reasons, they are often shunned by normal humans, leading many to try and disguise their vampiric traits.
Thus, in darkness they gain +1 to strength, agility, and endurance, while in light they have -1 to strength, agility, and endurance. They also gain +5 to athletics, +10 to bad speechcraft, and the Bloodsucker ability which allows them to drain HP from sleeping people.
